I was born in Nagoya, Japan and grew up in Qingdao, China. I got my bachelor’s degree in Bioengineering at Beijing University of Chemical Technology, where I mainly worked with bacteria and bioreactors. I came to Johns Hopkins University in 2019 as a masters student to study Biomedical Engineering, and joined the Kwon lab in 2020.

I’m currently working on trying to generate donor derived hearts by blastocyst complementation.
