About

The Kwon Lab at Johns Hopkins University is interested in studying the generation and regeneration of the heart. We utilize a wide range of techniques and approaches, including embryonic and induced pluripotent stem cells, mouse models, single-cell and spatial transcriptomics, proteiomics, engineered heart tissues, and others. We aim to combine a traditional developmental biology mindset with powerful new techniques to enable us to better dissect the molecular underpinnings of heart development and disease.
