I was born and spent the grade school in Tianjin, China. I graduated from the Southern Methodist University with a bachelor’s degree of Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Pre-med/biomedical science, and worked for Dr. Minjun Kim with the project of engineering bacterial flagellar forest. I entered the Master of Science and Engineering program in the department of biomedical engineering at Johns Hopkins University and joined the Kwon lab in 2018.
In the Kwon lab, my project is focused on understanding the interactions between Numb, Notch and Hedgehog pathways in Down syndrome.
